Personally, I like the build but I'm not too fond of the vines.  The look odd to me because they don't grow from the ground and I wonder how they would get there on the front of the building, but that's just my opinion.  As for the "no sides" I understand that this type of building would be built between two other buildings of about the same style so they are not necessary. 
Overall, 7/10

Yes, but he didn't say he didn't want the sides. Whenever exterior is used, I'm sure it will always mean the outside.
If he just wanted the front, he would've said.
