She didn't she simply stated what she believed. He doesn't have to believe it if he doesn't want to.
He didn't stated that.

For 1, its not even really about me liking her, that was like 2 years ago lol
2. I know she wasn't forcing it, just gets on my nerves

just gets on my nerves

Why? She found something to believe in. What's wrong with that?

I'm stuck between this debate. I think you have the right to believe what you believe in and inform people about it but I don't think you should be that EXTREME. I mean she's not bad compared to some people I've seen. But I'm pretty sure she coulda've obvisously sensed that Sandvich didn't want to hear her rant.

Yeah I don't have a problem with her, I just dislike when people gotta actually express it all the time

Jesus may love you, but everyone else thinks you're an starfish.

The bible says not to hate? I think a few people throughout history missed that. :S

She wasn't ranting. It was a simple conversation. Let me try to break it down.

Me:
it probably doesnt matter who you get math for, youll hate it anyway
surface area of triangles ughhh
i could never understand it D:
Becca:
No, I just don't hate, I dislike stuff.
Stating a belief
Me:
my definition of dislike is a prefer not doing it
my definition of hate is burn it and throw it out of a 10 story building onto traffic
Stating his own belief
Becca:
Well, in the Bible it says not to hate anything.. That's why I don't hate.
Explaining why she believes what she does.
Me:
dislike and hate are the same thing in the bible lol
According to it you have to love everyone and stuff or something
iunno, i barely go to church i cant remember :x
Stating what he thinks he knows
Becca:
Not really. Dislike means you just don't want to do it but you will. Hate means you hate this and you say you hate it and you will try to get out of it.
Correcting using her own information, not beliefs

If she was ranting, she would have gone on and on about why people should never hate. She simply stated why she doesn't hate, and her reasoning behind it. Magick Mage does the same thing.

And as long as someone is talking about their own opinion, someone else is not going to want to hear it.

Also, if Sandvich really didn't want to hear about it, he would never have replied to what she was saying the way he did. He should have moved on and gotten back on the math topic, disregarding her beliefs.

Also, for the record:
Quote
Dislike - to regard with displeasure, antipathy, or aversion
Hate - to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward; detest

There is a difference.
