Author Topic: Does Somebodies Avatar Effect the way you Behave Towards him/her?  (Read 6619 times)

It really does depend for me.  I usually judge him/her at first by the persons avatar, then review his/her behaviour after a couple posts by the person.

So discuss.

My eyes don't make it down to the avatar if the name has several special characters or numbers, or anything to do with master chief.

not at all mr. afro cactuar

No but if its one I dont like I feel disgusted to look at it.

Oforget I misread the title.

Anyway, no I don't. I don't think the OP is a disco cactus, therefore I shall not treat him like one.

Does mine offend you?

Yes I do act like a angry computer freak who just kills him self if the bsod appears.

What do you get from my avatar?

I probably do judge a person by their avatar, but I won't treat them differently until I see examples of how they act.

I'm pretty sure the impression I get from people's avatars in this topic so far, matches how they're acting, in a general sense.

So basically instead of perceiving people's faces, you perceive avatars as a way of distinguishing an assumption of personality.

Yes
I think mine makes me seem happy 24/7  :cookieMonster:

I would only rely on their avatar to tell if it was really funny or it catches my eye

Tom

Well when someone has a stupid avatar is trying to act smart, I can never take them as seriously.

Mine is an advertisement lol. If I had to choose another avatar it would be a DooM II avatar but Blinder/Raliden says I play too much DooM.
