Author Topic: ►►►How to Install add-ons easily (Firefox)  (Read 1411 times)

This is a tutorial for everyone who hates installing add-ons from the forums. The easiest way i find, to instantly install add-ons to your blockland folder, is to get an extension called "Download Them All!". Currently, there is only a firefox version as far as i know. So, if i ever find out that it is there for any other browser, i will put it in this post. This, to me, is just as quick as using the Mod Manager.

I provide images to show you exactly how to set up, and use dTa.

How to setup dTa

Install "Download Them All!" - Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201/

Click Tools -> DownloadThemAll! Tools -> dTa One Click

Note: If you get an error message, just click "Ok" And the dTa 1 click manager will open.

Click the folder next to where it says "Save Files In" And locate your blockland add-ons folder and click Ok.

Now that dTa is set up, i can show you how to use it to download add-ons.

How to use dTa for Blockland Add-ons

Go to the add-on you want to download and click the download link.
Download the add-on, but when the download dialogue pops up, click dTa One click and select the add-ons folder.

And you're finished! As soon as the download is finished, the add-on is now in your blockland folder and ready to be used! Now, those people who don't like downloading add-ons from the site can get add-ons that arn't on rtb!
That's my tutorial, thanks for reading, hope this helped you all.

I think you can install dTa by clicking the button below.

Great! I can do this in chrome. I think I should make a guide for using it with chrome

Although, not In this way

You have to change the directory so EVERYTHING you download goes into the addons folder. :/

I'll have to get to work

Aww. I made one and posted it.

I have one method, but if you find the other method on how to do it, I'll edit the OP and put your method, crediting you

You're making this really over-loving-complicated

Tools -> Options... -> Main Tab -> "Always ask me where to save files"

Then when you click the link for an add-on navigate to your add-ons folder and save.

Well it isn't that complicated, excuse me regulith. But as soon as you get this set up, you can download it straight to your add ons folder with 1 click. Its not that hard.
I think that if anyone cant do this easily then they fail.

However everything else they download will also go to the add-ons folder; I agree with Regulith.

people who need this won't read it, just by the way

How is this "easy" and what kind of idiot can't figure out how to DRAG A FILE INTO A FOLDER?

this is dumb kthx

i never use this
i just do select the folder and click save
its either 2 clicks my way or 1 click this super hard way

Wow this is hard? Are you guys serious? LMAO you guys. My 10 year old friend can litterally do this in 10 seconds thats how easy it is. If you can't do it, get off the internet you loving handicap.
