Author Topic: Newegg is broken omfg :(  (Read 2101 times)

Around yesterday I get a confirmation email from Newegg saying that my order has shipped along with the tracking number and another invoice email. So for the past ~24 hours it has told me that the package has shipped. What was even more odd was that the tracking list for that tracking number had an update "from the future", August 2nd at 23:42:20 which was only about 45 minutes ago and was there since yesterday.

Now I check again since it finally passed that 23:42:40 mark on August 2nd.

Somehow the shipping went backwards to "processing" even though today was a normal working business day.

The tracking list is still the same.

Wtf just happened.

UPDATE: It's now for sure shipped... but...

What kind of name for a town is Towson?

That wouldn't happen to be a typo and you wouldn't happen to live in Twoson, would you?

Even if it was spelled wrong it would ship to the right place. When I lived in Pensacola a bank misspelled my town as "snakeacola" and it still got to my house. The zip code is the important thing. But even if you butcher the street/town name the usps is pretty good at getting letters to the right place.

But it's actually spelled right:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Towson

you'll probably get it anyways

Why did you block out your information?

Nope, I confirmed my address to reduce delays.

Yeah, on August 5th :/

Why did you block out your information?
Because I know there's stupid forgets that pretend this website is /b/ and do anything with the closest they can get to any personal information.

Completely off topic, but what are you buying thats worth that much?

What the stuff is "Twoson"? I think you mean Tucson.

Just don't leave it on the main menu for 7 hours :)
Oh dear God lol.

Also would anyone happen to know how to have a GTX 460 as a main rendering card with a 9800GT dedicated for PhysX?

I think you put them both in then set one to Physx in the nvidia control center.  But I wouldn't really know.

I found an answer on Nvidia forums.

Plug them both in, slap an SLI bridge on it and set the 9800GT to purely work on PhysX.
I'll probably experiment with the options to get the 9800GT to do PhysX and graphics, but I won't if it literally does one half of the screen for the GTX 460 and the other half to the 9800GT.

edit: updated OP.
