Anything about the FN SCAR?
It's being used by US SF (Rangers, SEALs, Pararescue, etc), the MK17 atleast. The MK16 was dropped by SOCOM because there weren't many advantages of it over the 416/M4.

That's what he was saying.Popular guns like Kalashnikovs are popular for a reason. Popular guns like the AA-12 or the Armsel Striker are popular for absolutely no reason. Lesser known weapons are not well known also for a reason.Considering you don't hold your eye TO the scope to use it unless you want your eye gouged out, it's fine. You typically are a few inches away from a scope.Yeah, we use the HK416 and the HK Mark 23.
Know what gun is popular? Desert Eagle.
I win.

Yes it is, what's your point?

What about RPGs?
Many people think that the actual explosive is a rocket, but it is actually a grenade just propelled by a rocket, as indicated by the name.

That's referring to how it works, it's not literally a grenade.

You were wrong in some posts, but you made some good points. I have fired a Glock18c, and it was fairly hard not to keep the kick down, but it was much, much heavier then you'd guess a gun of that size to be, so my balance was off.

Add "Blown Away" to the thread

Not much to rant about other than that they're too heavy to actually carry. They're designed for shooting at enemies in buildings or in cover, or other vehicles, and they do their job well. They're also not illegal in the US for civilian usage because they're damn near impossible to get, ridiculous expensive (only owned by rich motherforgeters), even more expensive to fire, and chances are very slim that a man with THAT much money is going to commit crimes with his Humvee-Mounted Minigun.
It appears that the mythbusters have a lot of money.

You said most popular guns were popular because they're good. However, the Desert Eagle exists.

theres this one game where a shotgun is not stereotypically depicted
as in, you can kill a guy from 100 feet away with it
i forgot which game it was

Just because he didn't acknowledge the Deagle doesn't mean that he doesn't like it or it's not a good gun.

What about under barrel shotguns? (aka Shotgun attached to an assault rifle, I think that's what it's called)

I own a Desert Eagle, it's not a bad gun. It's definitely more common in movies than it should be, but by no means is it bad. In-fact, it's actually an experimental handgun.

I'm pretty sure those are fictional. I can't actually find evidence of real ones, aside from airsoft guns.

I was sure that was the answer. I wouldn't see a real good use for that if it did exist, unless you ran out of ammo.
