In like the 1700's, there were a few guns that shot SQUARE BULLETS. You ask why? Because the entry and exit holes are FLIPPING RAGGED.

I was reading through this
http://skippyslist.com/friends/
and noticed several mentions of combining cleaning rods and blanks
what would that do?

Lets not forget how generic it is for headshots to pour out blood. This doesn't happen because the bullet is like a stopper on a bottle.
What?
I assume you're saying that getting shot in the head wouldn't pour out blood, which it would.

If you've ever seen an entry/exit wound for any bullet, you'd notice they're all "flipping ragged", especially hollow points.

Bump.

People expect showers of blood and ect. Not that much blood. I'm not saying there's none.

It's not a shower, but it's a lot of blood. Pulp Fiction has a realistic interpretation of a headshot in it, while they're driving in the car.

I asked my friend the range of a shotgun and he said five feet. Haha.

Feel free to smack him.

With a slug, the range is a bit over a hundred yards. With buckshot, the effective range is 50-80 yards, depending on the weapon, choke, barrel length, etc etc

Lol

"Call of duty is the most realistic game. Their interpretation of combat and weapons is like real life."

What one of my friends said.

You can shoot someone in the stomach with an L96 AWM in CoD black ops, and they can still sprint away like nothing happened.

HAHA MY KEVLAR IS MADE OF TITANIUM. YOUR BULLETS ARE NO MATCH FO-OH MY GOD WHY DID YOU SHOOT ME WH-OH MY GOD I'M DYING!!!

Seriously, I try to apply logic and they talk louder. If you rum out of ammunition,
"charg wit bayonet"
No. That WOULD get you shot, reloading is smarter and always has been smarter prior to the 1890s.
When muskets were used, reloading can take 10-20 seconds, so having a knife at hand is good. Now, a gun can reload in 1/15th of a SECOND. Just put another loving magazine in, PLEASE. You can get shot about 60 times charging.

The Spetsnaz used ballistic knives.

There's a loving reason no military in the world has used bayonets since World War II, and even then they were relatively scarce except in certain military like the Red Army. Since the 70's, KBAR knives have been issued as a UTILITARIAN ITEM. No soldier would use the knife over a firearm in any instance because it's so difficult. It's really an absolute last resort, and even then, they were trained to use them as traps in order to slow down pursuers over actually engaging them.

A bottle is the ultimate ninja weapon?
