This seems really similar to something on cracked
Cracked has a similar article.

I want to test fire an XM8, they look badass.

XM8 looks like someone fused a squirt gun and a fish together. Ugliest rifle under the sea.

Why dont they make an xm8 out of carbon fiber instead of plastic so it doesnt melt. I dunno... or something that would make sense?

Most videogames take on ammo:
If you pick up bullets they automatically jump into your infinite supply of mags!
If I were to make a game a mag would be a separate item from the actual ammunition, and you could have 12 mags max per gun, and each one would load realistically, (See: Half-life & Half Life 2 shotguns)
and be put into the gun one at a time.
Example:
use mag 4 on Mac-10
fire off X amount of bullets
switch to mag 6
empty
switch to mag 4
you do NOT have a full mag because of the bullets you just shot out of mag 4.

Also on video games when you reload a mag that hasn't been used up all the way the bullets left from the mag magically re-appear in your next mag.

Also, I think the XM8 is the coolest looking gun ever. Yuki, did it preform as good as the M16 or M4? Excluding the melting and stuff.

I fired a Glock .30 and a Colt 1911. I would hate to even see somebody attempt to fire a automatic handgun version of those.

Seriously I hate how kids today get their gun knowledge... I mean i was exposed to guns when I was young but now I know how to recognize and describe a gun (well my descriptions are a little rusty anyways) but the way movies and video games portray guns is totally idiotic. Thanks for making this thread to clear those myths up!

Modern handguns don't have shoulder stocks designed for them, they're only custom made for novelty. Back in the day, the Luger and the Mauser C98 both came with shoulder stocks that doubled up as carry cases. A source says that the Luger had a crazy fast rate of fire.

Same.

You're missing the point; It was a stufftier G36.
I want to test fire an XM8, they look badass.
It's just a G36 that melts like chocolate.

G36 is just a slightly better looking AR18 anyways.

ogm i wun to qiuck scoop somone wit a inervention!!1

The G36 looks nothing like an AR-18, even the receiver is different.

I'm talking internally, I find both guns ugly so that's what I said the g36 looks slightly better than it, I'm not saying they look anything alike.
