DNA
noun Biochemistry
deoxyribonucleic acid, a self-replicating material present in nearly all living organisms as the main constituent of chromosomes. It is the carrier of genetic information.
It's a base-4 storage ribbon capable of replication and redundancy checking. It's a celluloid hard drive, more advanced than anything ever created, and still too complex for science to understand fully.
Aren't they still trying to design computer storage devices to behave more like DNA? I remember hearing that awhile back.
