They have no teeth but they can use their jaws and gum to eat food. It is like a really painful pinch when you get bitten.
Mine bit a snake in half. It was frikkin' awesome, reptilian mortal combat. My beardie only has one eye left though, the snake bit the left one out :/
And before everyone starts freaking out about animal cruelty, it was an accident, my friend brought his snake over and it escaped, saw my lizard, and, for some unexplainable reason, climbed into it's cage and attacked. We couldn't get to them before the snake was dead though. My friend cried, I felt terrible.
Anyway, yeah, they're fun little beasties. Just avoid snakes.
