If you didn't know if you could or not, why did you say you could?

That's because you are stupid. How old are you btw?

How does the term "Paradox" become the term "Paradox"?

Also, no matter what happens to your past, yu will ed up in the same way, with a different life.
That is how it is.
Say for example, you kill your grandfather, who is your father's father.
No worries, about you dying, you'll always appear in the end.
How?

Say you want to go to New York.
Yu can walk there, take the bus, or taxi.
From say, California.
You're grandfather is California.
You're New York.
Your father is Walking.
The bus and taxi are still available as extra options.

Not necessarily. :o

While there are thousands of ways to reach any given result, if you're grandfather was killed it would be physically impossible for him to be your grandfather unless he impregnated your grandmother prior to death. Now, let's say your grandmother finds someone else, but she didn't get pregnant with who your initial grandfather. Whomever she may have a child with will no longer carry the genes nor history your first Grandfather did. This may mean that they have a daughter, or a son who grows up in a completely different manner, or no children at all. And if this happens, the chances of you having the save mother is near impossible as well. This means 3/4ths of all your genes, history, and anything else that came along with that change is no longer at your disposal. And because of this, you would be born a completely different person, raised a completely different person, even if you are born at the same time and in the previous conditions (Health and location, for example) in the first place.

On the other hand, let's say your grandfather is killed after your grandmother gives birth to your father. This would mean your father would be raised by a single parent. Under these conditions, he wouldn't be raised in the same environment as he would have. His mother may not have been able to afford the home they were in, so they had to move. Or he had to transfer out of a school. Or he couldn't go to a certain college. Would he ever meet your mother? And let's say he does. This would mean that you would still be raised differently and most likely in a different household.

To put simply, I know you weren't really insinuating this, but even once tiny change to the past could and will completely disrupt what the present is, as there are no isolated incidences. Everything in the past had to happen in order for the present and future to happen. :o

Another one for you guys to ponder.

Suppose Homer needs to reach a stationary bus. He needs to get to it, but first, he must get half-way to the bus, but before he can do that he must go 1/4th of the way, then he must go to half-way of 1/4th the way, and continuing on by half each time. Soon there would be an infinite amount of tasks required to reach the bus, therefore Homer will never reach the bus.

Someone said using the same logic that a pencil could never reach the ground when dropped.  But really, when Homer is .0000000000000000000001 nanometers from the bus, is he still not there?  No, he is inside of it.  Even when he's a "larger" distance away, such as .025 milimeters, the distance is so negligible that he's reached it.
