Blockland Community Space Battles!

So one day when I was on vacation, I got some of my cousins interested in Gratuitous Space Battles. I had them design their own ship and then we each fielded our own custom ship against the enemy. It was pretty fun but there were only like, 5 of us. Later, I decided it would be neat to try this with blocklanders building their ships, so I contacted a few of my friends on steam and got them to make their own.

This is how the battle turned out.



Team BL's performance:
Qwepir destroyed two fighters, and the frigate Indefatigable
CC killed two fighters
Sue destroyed the cruisers Fearless and Searcher
Dracosoul destroyed the cruiser Glorious
Tomthegeek destroyed two fighters before being killed himeslf by Searcher
Tingalz destroyed two fighters and the frigate Behold My Tentacles before dying at the hands(claws, whatever) of Searcher
Skip was able to kill two fighters, as well as the cruisers Triumph and Falcon. Which deserves mention itself because he's just a frigate.
Kapturrith killed nothing and was destroyed by the cruiser Triumph
Nickthesushi destroyed three fighters before being destroyed by Glorious
Tikitai destroyed the frigate Perseverance in a good old fashioned slugging match

Now I am opening up the floor to other people on the forum who want to try making a ship. Just tell me what weapons you want and whether you want to be fast/have a lot of health and I'll set you up with a ship.

There really is only one rule, there may only be one of each type of cruiser. There can be an unlimited amount of people being frigates though. Once 10-13 people have signed up, I will start the match.

Currently my game is a little borked after this last match, so while I get it fixed, you guys can vote on what faction the next group will play as. Then I'll post the templates for that faction.

CRUISERS
These are the biggest and the strongest ships in any fleet. For that reason, there may only be one of each cruiser model. They will decimate frigates even when outnumbered, as long as their shield is up. However, their main weakness is fighters, which can get inside the shields and do direct damage to the hull. This can all be avoided with some good armor, though.

FRIGATES
Smaller and faster than cruisers, but without nearly as much firepower. Many frigate lasers don't even do any damage to decent cruiser shielding or armor, but once that's all gone they can tear even the largest ships apart with sheer numbers. They also make great anti-fighter platforms.

You will lose because the swarm is terrible. The swarm just have universal penalties to health shield and armor (I think about -10%), but are cheaper.  You'll probably also lose if you pick the Tribe too, because they have universal -50% Shield and Armor penalties, but a x2 health bonus for everything too. It takes completely different tactics. For example, tribe fighters are superior. Hands down. They have plenty of HP to start, and then it doubles, so they can shrug off direct hits from cruiser beam lasers. They're flying tanks.
