I was referring to GTA4 not RDR. I haven't played RDR but I watched gameplay vids and it doesn't interest me.

I said the exact same thing before I played it. I thought it looked boring as stuff.

Im currently have both games out on gamefly. I've had GTAIV out for some time now and is like 8 missions untill the ending according to the wiki but I have been playing RDR and have just finished the part in mexico where that soldier guy betrays you in the church. I've enjoyed RDR more overall.

One thing I  do hate about RDR's multiplayer though is that when you're doing a gang hideout and just trying to level there's always friends trying to come in and kill you no matter what. I was doing the tumbleweed gang hideout and 2 guys in the same posse were waiting for me outside. I could hear them saying stuff on their mics like "Oh, I think he knows we're here." or "You go in the main entrance I'll go in the basement". Or stuff along the lines of that. Good thing they never killed me, I escaped and transported to another town. I've also have had guys chase me through the entire map just to kill and then continue to spawn kill me. They haven't succeeded, at least yet, though.

and yes theyre the same loving genre, you can judge them
theyre made by the same company
and rdr is basically gta with cowboys

Yes, it's very annoying.

Why? Just cause of a few annoyances in multiplayer? Singleplayer is really where this game wins and strives for, and the multiplayer is just an epic bonus.

The multiplayer is still fun, just be sure to be in a posse with some friends. Lone wonderers are usually the target for other posses to gang up on.

Same happens to me. They always shoot my donkey and it makes me sad. Their High Power Pistols are too strong, damn Colt.
