Hey, Ive been testing alot with Dedicated and stuff, and I'm gonna teach you all my smarticles on them.
Starting a dedicated server
First of all, lets make one. Its not that hard, and I might be doing this wrong but,
1. Start your server with all the addons.
2. Once you spawn, exit blockland
3. Go into your Blockland folder and open the dedicated Batch File.
4. Open up blockland once it says Dedicated Server Running
5. Your dedicated server should be there, now you can change the map and load the save you wanted.
That is how I do it, and it works for me. Ive tried other ways, all failed. I just stick with that anyways.
Some things to have.
Well, here are some addons I would suggest for your dedicated server.
Instant Dedicated Loader:

You should have some neat addons.
Why I like Dedicated servers.
Well for 1, it actually gives my server a ping.
It also lets all people join, with my original server, About 5/1000 people can join.
IT gives a 24/7 access to my server, which is good with blockparties, freebuilds or showing off addons.
It just seems when you have a dedicated server, you get more respect.
