I have never seen a comic so unfunny. The last comic I saw was a two-panel comic of Billy's sand castle getting crushed and he's sitting there sobbing.

...

How is that funny? If anything, it's sad. Why is this in the comics? Isn't the comic section of a newspaper supposed to be... comical?

My guess is that if they remove it they'll get a bunch of complaints from people who read it because it's cute. IE Peanuts and nostalgic geezers.
