Author Topic: Dyson AirMultiplier Fan  (Read 1525 times)

We've all heard about this by now, Dyson's new bladeless fan:

I was so curious about this for the longest time and finally remembered to Google it:

Insanely awesome stuff. I saw one at Bed, Bath & Beyond and it was totally soundless and yet there was a breeze. Very neat.

Discuss.

I've wanted one, but I really don't want to spend money on just a fan. What would I even use a 200 dollar fan for? I already have plenty of fans.

I still want one...

That guy must be rich, first all those vacuums and then this fan.

Makes prefect sense.  No seriously.

That is pretty cool although I have no purpose for one of those.

“OMG AIRBUFFETING IS SO ANNOYING! MUST SPEND MONEY ON THIS!”

But the sound of a fan sooth's me D:

Come on guys, stop talking about how you have no purpose for one. Nobody does. It's like buying a jetski or a helicopter. You bought it because you CAN, not because you needed one. I want one.

ZREWZREWZREWZREWZREWZREWZREWZREW

Dyson:

suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

These are dumb. I see them at meijer everytime I go, and they are just a rip off. I mean really, 200-400 for each fan? Wtf?

The dyson air multiplier is overpriced overhyped and overly loud, and air buffeting is a myth.

I should replace my computer fans with these, my hardware can't stand annoying buffeting!

It isn't even that strong.
