My Dad might have cancer.

I'm really worried, he's going to get checked sometime this week, he has a problem with his gums and the doctor said it could be mouth cancer, my parents didn't want to tell my but my brothers told me anyway.
I really feel helpless and worried, I just can't imagine my dad, who's always been a tough old coot, like his brother...

EDIT: Today my dad was saying how he couldn't be a good father to any of us.. I tell him that he's always worked so hard to keep me happy, he's paid for expensive tutors, to make sure I get education, he says he wishes he could help me with my homework and stuff, but he's too busy at work...

My dad died of Cancer around the end of June so I know what you're going through. Nobody at your age should have to go through with this.
