Author Topic: Speeding up Minecraft  (Read 2035 times)

I have to use a stuffty netbook when I'm at my mom's house, and I'd like to play Minecraft. Unfortunately, I can only run it with the second to highest amount of fog, with "fast" graphics, and it still only goes at about 15 FPS (when I'm standing still or moderately moving).
Are there any methods/programs to speed up browser Java applications?
Any suggestions appreciated.

use highest amount of fog
I'll take my chances with GameBooster. Highest fog makes it so I can't see anything approaching :S

Yes, but it also means no lag.

And the fogline would at least be four inches away from you from out-game perspective; so if anything was near you it would be visible.

Well, I'm still gonna try GameBooster first.
