I was hosting earlier and somebody sounded a little disappointed that my shipyard... wasn't. So I decided to take an hour or so and take a stab at it.

The drydock itself. Plenty big to get a small ship build going. Tried not to make it look too duped.

The dockmaster's office/admin building

(I know- this way of doing catwalk is spammy, but dammit, it looks good)

YUS. This looks great. I'd love to see it when you're done. There's a project currently being worked on in Mod Discussion involving the creation a couple new, large spaceships which would look great in this ship yard.

May I suggest an area for smaller craft? Like the MAS Swarmfighters?

I'm gonna have to check that out- my favorite thing about this is the fact that I was able to get scaffolding without being too spammy (the drydock gantry comes in at about 300 bricks without props, and it's sandwiched between two 64x baseplates). I was actually thinking of dropping the Argos save in and rigging it up to show what a dock would look like with a nice big ship inside.

Take off the baseplates, use something not entirely flat/one brick

The floors are going to be going in any more of these. I originally only used them for scale, but started looking at it more like a "hangar" for landed ships. If I do a big ship in the dock, it's going to be sides and maybe top only.

I'll also be keeping this on hand for a skeleton for a much larger ship's hangar that I may or may not be working on...
