No and no. Two of the worst songs imaginable, I wouldn't be surprised if someone threw a glass bottle at you. The only reason my school didn't maul the kids who played Fireflies was because they knew they were just playing around.

I suggest you try either:
A. Classical/Orchestral, such as Hans Zimmer or Tchaikovsky, or something really intense by Haydn perhaps.
B. Don't Stop Believing by Journey (everyone can dig it)
C. Come Sail Away by Styx (You cannot go wrong)
D. No Remorse by Metallica  ()

Dust in the Wind is always a winner if you are good at it and don't play it really quietly, and it sounds good on piano and guitar. Hans Zimmer's stuff is really good but it depends on the song, and I always thought Howard Shore's music sounded better on piano than Han's Zimmers
