I thought it might help some people if they had a guide to help them complete the Log Challenge... so, here ya go! =D

First off, you should be pretty comfortable with the silver hook. You should be able to climb all the rooftops in Port Town without much effort, and it helps if you've also completed the Treehouse Challenge.
Once you think you're up for the Log Challenge, there are a few steps that might help you out.

The Steps:

Step 1: Where to hook
Getting started on the log challenge is probably the hardest part. Once you're about half-way up, the logs spread out and it's a lot less difficult. But to get yourself going, you need to be able to choose which logs you need to hook. They key is to stay on the outside of the Log Challenge. Always look for logs that are sticking out, and easy to hook.

Step 2: How to hook
Okay... so you found out which log you wanna target. Before you go ahead and and hook it, you need to keep in mind that you're gunna need to be able to swing from this log. So, here's a nice trick that should help you a lot. Right before your hook hits the log, jump straight into the air. It sounds weird, but when your hook hits the log, you should be left suspened a couple feet in the air. This is important for getting a good swing without hitting the ground.

Step 3: Make a path
It helps a lot if you find a specific route up the log challenge that's easy to do and to remember. It doesn't have to go all the way up (if it did, you wouldn't be reading this...), but high enough to get you a good start.

Step 4: Finishing it off
The very top of the log challenge has proven to be really hard to manage for some people. Before I got the gold hook, this was the point where i always fell... it's extremely aggravating when this happens. To help you out, try looking at this video of me completing the top of the log challenge.

What you should do:
Practice, practice, practice...

What you should NOT do:
Ask someone else to do it for you.

Asking someone to do it for you is great! For me at least because I steal accounts that way...

Also, all your links just go to Google Homepage.

That's because I haven't uploaded them yet ^_^

...

O

If anyone wants me to just get it for them hit the "O" key in-game and go to change your password, and give that new password to me.(So I don't know your real one)

lol, idiot.

Who would even want to scam on a game like this?

Me, I love watching them whine.

Also be very aware of the fact that your silver hook will disconnect on its own after 15 seconds. If you're swinging around on a log, stop every once in a while to re-attach your hook. You'll feel less rushed and worried if you know you won't be falling due to hook failure.

I let someone get the golden hook for my on my account like months and months ago and they actually did it and gave me my account back. It's all about knowing the people you can trust :P

... I think it was probably me.  I think that I was the only person who actually did it for free without stealing the account.  Also, never land on the way up, just keep swinging.

Also, never land on the way up, just keep swinging.

This must be a personal preference thing, because I stop frequently on the way up, to get my bearings and for safety purposes. One log at a time. Not fast, but safe.

What you should do:
Ask shaun to do it for you.

Stun baton FTW

I like stunning people when they get to the top of the log challenge before they get the hook.

I like balling them off :D
