Author Topic: Ok Time to buy a tablet  (Read 1887 times)

I now have the money to buy a tablet and I need to decide what tablet to choose.

It needs to be a good one, I don't know much about tablets so I'm hoping some of the users with experience can help.

I need a cheap tablet so nothing over $60

I read 'ok, time to buy a table' I was like what.

At first I thought you meant like an actual tablet laptop and I was like "no way".

Yeah Wacom is pretty good. I have an old Wacom tablet from my brother.

You won't be getting one for 60 bucks. At the lowest, and the price of the one I own, they are like 80. If you want anything good get a Cintiq or Intuos.

Just get the Wacom Bamboo tablet for $90-100. It's not much.

I'm probably going to do this.

I'm just worried it might not be worth it. I draw so much with a pencil

Yeah that's what I have. You have no idea how much stuff I put it through and it still works. Pen got washed, still works, tablet's all scratched up, stepped on, etc etc
and the thing still works. It's a loving tank.

But this doesn't mean you can't/shouldn't care for it :v

Imo, its worth getting one.

There's a Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet that is about $69.
It's small, I have one myself, but it's not bad.

Edit: Just noticed NickTheSushi and JD posted about it too.

Yeah, that sealed the deal.

I've tried my brothers Bamboo and I did not like it due to it's small size.

I have an Intuos 4 it's very nice

but you can get Intuos 3 cheaper nowadays
