I'm not being stubborn, I just feel that I'd be happier and feel better with a girl in real life as opposed to a girl 100+ miles away.
Think of it like this; Which is more satisfying, a kiss in real life or a kiss online?
Of course the whole thing is certainly in opinion, there is no true "right" or "wrong" here.
I know someone who was just the same way, till they realized it wasn't the distance nor the desire to have a better feeling for yourself. It was about who was the right person on the inside.
But I suppose you're still young. You'll learn eventually. You're a smart kid.
I was in a long distance relationship for 5 years. Pointless.
You were also young at the time. A relationship at that age would be pointless regardless of distance.
Thats what I feel like about the subject. It's sort of pointless.
Again, love shouldn't be about what you want to feel. But this is a difficult subject to talk about, especially at 5:00 AM.
You have not seen enough bad romance movies. Long-distance relation ships have a chance of becoming short-distance ones. in RL? No.
They can become short-distance if you're an adult with patience and dedication. Many people lack both of these.

You found Jack, Jack found you. Much more satisfying/gratifying due to the fact that you can visit each other and actually say "i love you" instead of just typing it or speaking it without looking in their (real) eyes.
