not really valuable.
being foreign dont really make coins expensive. especially from a country with a stuffty economy.
and 1949 isn't really that old.

I need a book because I have some weird looking middle eastern coins that I can't even find what the forget they are called.

That means my Florin is worth about $20NZD. Cool.

I have a large collection of american coins as well as a few coins from when my dad traveled to other countries. My advice to you is to get books that have precise averages from auctions and general sales of old coins to get a good estimate of your collection. One of my favorite coins from my collection is a penny(can't think of the year) that is worth around $40(I have 2 of them). :D

Edit: You have inspired me to find the total worth of my collection, thank you for giving me something to do.  :cookieMonster:

I have a German penny from 1943. It's probably worth... Well... a penny.
It's got an eagle bearing a swastika on the front.

Man 2, melt your coin and use it for something else. Anything with a Swastika deserves to be melted.

Burger, where would I get such a book? I really hope your coins are valued well :)

I would buy that for like $100 man.

Really, I have quite a few national socialist-era coins

I got like 30 deutsch marks. Don't know if I have any other German coins though.

i'd give you like 60$ for one becuase I admire the national socialist's advances in air vehicles

So German coins are expensive? Cool. I don't want any national socialist/Swastika ones though.

I heard a Deutsche mark is about 1/2 Euro. But it may rise in value since it is an outdated currency.

Ok, I don't know the exchange rate with Euros :/
