Switch schools?

I've been at my school for 4 years now, and I'm starting to get highly annoyed by the kids there.

I want to switch schools but I'm scared to. I will know only 2 kids there, and I always think big schools have more kids beat up. Please help. I really want to switch but I'm scared of things like gym. I hear gym is really hard and the teachers a butt heads...

I am expecting a switch from public to private.  I hate public because they are not meeting my needs of what I want to learn.  Private is taking too loving long to get through.  I should get an approval mid August.
