yeah you can have companions when you finish dark brotherhood. any random guy working in the guild you can ask to follow you.
i always get the blond girl. when she sleeps i reequip her with better looking armour ;)
and one my of sweet swords i dont use.

I managed to mod myself some custom race companions and foes, the Construction Set for modding is pretty cool and I love the interface style.

also the girl is a dumbass, she is a mage but seems too stupid to use the spells and uses her dagger

I bought the game and my new character was pretty stuffty. He's a wood elf and has a custom class.
Major Skills:
Alchemy
Mysticism
Marksman
Sneak
Athletics
Acrobatics
Speechcraft

It started as a sneaky-assassin type, but the mysticism and alchemy skills were left alone and I never use them.
So far I'm about level 14 and I've been kicked out of the Mage's and Fighter's Guilds. I'm still in the Thieves' Guild(boring, the only advantage for me is selling stolen goods) and the Dark Brotherhood. I love being in the Dark Brotherhood, it has pretty neat contracts like the one where you make the stag head fall on the guy leaning in his chair.

My new character is level 7 and I got bored of him and abandoned him. He's an Argonian mage with all the major mage skills. I got his alteration to 100 because I spammed that "protect" spell everywhere I went.

Anyway, I saved up and bought the Benirus manor and got it redone. I love this game so far.

high elf mages is where its at

Yes, I know about the manor ghosts and the lich in the basement. You get it redone when you finish the quest.

Are you on a console?

Because if you're on the PC I suggest using a mod house. They're far more satisfying and you can do alot more with them :D

If you're on the console, however, the Benirus manor is a sweet deal and it's the best house in the game aside from the Rosethorn Hall.


Also, I'm reinstalling TES:IV completely.

I want to get a fresh start on the game and I'm looking for someone to help me with mods I can use right out of the box.
