Author Topic: Fraps Problems  (Read 1921 times)

Before, I could record Blockland with no lag at all. Now, when I start up fraps and run blockland with it, Im getting 5 fps. Literally. Then, also how do you record sound ingame with fraps? My version is 3.2.3.

Use X-Fire. You can record games with it. And broadcast.

Xfire sucks

Then your problem will stay.
Get out.
I am not willing to buy another screen recorder other than fraps.

The main problem IS Fraps

Look Fraps is a good program but it's a cpu hog. So here's my conclusion on what happened.

A) You got new computer specs
B) You're running blockland at a higher resolution than you normally do
C) You clocked Fraps capture rate at 5fps because you're handicapped
D) You have fraps capture rate set to like 300 or something
E) You have lock framerate enabled
G) Malware and virsues is sappin yo cpu foo
H) I bet you didn't notice I skipped F

Also why does everyone hate fraps? It's a good program even if it rapes your cpu. You will need a quad core processor if you want to record modern games over 1024x968 resolution but it's still a good program.

You're an idiot

My Video Capture Settings is at 60 fps. I tried 30 and 29.97.

Hypercam 3 always worked for me. It also records sound (it has an option)

You suck and so does Xfire.

You need a good CPU and a fast hard drive along with lots of hard drive space.

Did you upgrade versions or change settings?
