Hey. My mom would be pissed if I asked her about it, so I'm asking you guys. I think there's something really wrong with me. I just slept for 17 hours, and I'm still tired. And no, it's not the "I have nothing to do--let's go sleep!" tired, it's "I can't stay awake because I'm passing out," tired. Any ideas? CrumpetMassacre suggested a vitamin deficiency, which is possible, but I want to know of other options.
Also, this has been happening for over 2 weeks straight, it wasn't just this one time.


It's more than likely your diet. Try eating better. Greasy and unhealthy food have the negative side-effect of making you tired if it's a large portion of your diet. Also, get some excersize.

Welp I've accomplished that I need to eat more than one meal a day, and that this is probably the cause of my oversleeping.

Sounds like a vitamin related issue to me.

I'm having the same problem and alarms aren't helping me.

I seem to be sleeping a lot too, I just slept for 12+ hours last night and I feel sluggish too.

I'm going to try doing some jumping jacks and stretching to get me awake-ish.

P.S. I take Vitamin C every day but I don't think C does much with sleeping or whatever.

This is actually very interesting. I'm sticking with Yuki's suggestion right now, but are there any other ideas/anybody else who supports Yuki?
