I use Auslogics Disc Defragment. It's very fast and it seems to work the best for me.

I use Defraggler for my defrags. It's free and works really well. Another program that's unrelated to defragmening but still a great program is CCleaner. It lets you remove temporary files and data, control startup programs, uninstall software, repair your registry, and more.

me neither. I did it once and it didn't make a difference

Im pretty sure it removes leftover data from deleted programs as well as organizing it so its faster to read or something

When I tried de-fragging, it sat for 30 minutes doing absolutely nothing. Sounds like a long time to wait for such a small purpose.

When I did Defragging on 95 in like 2000 it would take hours
On my current computer it takes like 5 minutes at max

Last time we had our old one defragged it took 6+ hours i haven't on my new one yet.
