 For my self the thought of being caged and drowned is frightening.
This cool video shows a mouse breathing water, and a possible future where Humans will learn to breathe through water.

 Too bad Humans can't do the same, and even if we can it will be hard to force someone to drown himself. I'm waiting for LikeAFish technology to finally be done.

If we had wings, they'd most likely be on connected to our arms and torso, like bats. It'd also be more for floating down than flying.
