I still can't find my C&C Renegade though. That game was cool. The first game to combine rts and fps. :D

How do you recruit troops in Multiplayer practice, Renegade and Generals/Zero Hour is all I play.

I can haz your Renegade? Also lack of arrow or wasd camera movement in Tiberian Sun makes me said. My mouse makes the camera move way to freaking fast and it makes it hard to get the camera in the right spot.

It's on one disc, bro, good luck robbing me.

I played that game when it was freeware. loving compatibility. Doesn't fit my big screen :c. I want to bump the Warzone 2100 topic again.

I have TFD but the disc is all scratched up.

I'm looking into a replacement for both TFD and CnC3 since the DVD's got scratched.

You don't recruit troops at all in Renegade.
It's first person shooter with buyable temp classes, vehicles, and your team's super weapon for taking out structures.

Ahh.

Does any game exist where it's an RTS, but you can change into a unit and go FPS in the RTS battlefield?

That would be a loving good idea for a game, as long as you can set how much RTS control you actually have.

In multiplayer and the multiplayer 'practice' mode you are allowed to buy whatever your faction has as long as you have the credits.

You earn credits at a steady but slow pace, although your harvester can harvest Tiberium and drop it at a refinery until its destroyed.

I loved Renegade but its a shame I can't install it without it breaking.

I always wondered if there was such a thing and I realized that no developer has made this... at least successfully probably.
Probably cause it would be like combining two engines together.

No, it's only fps. But it is cool how it has a lot of rts elements. Being on foot though means you're screwed if you try to raid a base. Espicially Nod. Nod's evil tower is evil.

Obelisk*.

On the practice map (I think it was called "under" and can't be changed) it was easy to infiltrate the Nod base. Just run through the side tunnels, go to the far down entrance and run/hide behind the covers. Take out power plant with Ion Cannon.

Actually there is a mod that lets you do this called Empires Mod for hl2. There's also a game that lets you do this called Raven Squad but it SUCKS.

Like I said, no developer has done it successfully.

I'm aware of this. He wanted to know how to recruit troops.

Savage and Savage II.
