I see what he means. If you run your eyes up and down the picture rapidly you'll probably see what he's talking about. The checkboxes in the white boxes seem to be bigger when you do this. It's caused by the fact that each checkbox has a very small, pseudo-light blue outline, and some of the surrounding boxes have a color close to this light blue.
