    As i awoke to an alarm clock constant wringing, i noticed the room was very cold. I quickly got out of bed and ran to turn the heat on, but when i got into the the hallway i realised i had no idea where i was. I man in white scrubs came up to me asking what i was doing up and out of my room. I tried to answer him but my throat was in immense pain so i just began to cough, i get like i was choking on something. As i started to panic the man in white scrubs hit me on the back and i threw up all over the floor. The man finally asked me what had happend. I still couldn't talk though so i held my throat. He pointed to the room i had came from and told me i had better go lay down. As i had no idea what was going on i agreed, and proceeded to do so. I laid down on the itchy, white bed. After about and hour or so i had fallen asleep.

As I looked around the room, I saw a clipboard with a single paper on it. The door wouldn't open anymore, and the window was locked.

I was in a hospital. I looked out the window, then at the clock. 9:00 AM. I walked out of the door and asked a nurse where I was. "Oh, you're underwater." she responded and walked away. Underwater? Not understanding, I got dressed, walked outside and saw a fairly large door with a sign saying that opening the airlock to the ocean will get you arrested and persecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Looking around, I saw an environment covered by a large dome that strangely resembled my hometown in New York. Not knowing the year, I walked into the city and bought a newspaper. 2046? How did I end up 36 years in the future, and what happened..?

As i was wondering what had hapend i asked the man at the newspaper stand why i we were underwater and he told me to get lost, he doesn't want to get in trouble. Confused i asked him "Get in trouble? For what?" He then told me "Please leave if they catch me talking to one of you again there going to kill me." I had no idea what he meant so as i left the stand looking around i noticed a large building within the town, that said in big letters "Aperture," i asked the man next to me what that meant. He only laughed and then proceeded to walk down the street.
