Author Topic: There really are a lot of people on the internet.....  (Read 1782 times)

So just a little while ago, I was trying to get dox on someone, and I was at this site, pipl.com , out of sheer curiosity I typed "DrenDran" in, which believe it or not, is my username. I was actually quite surprised by the results, someone had go so far as to want to be more like and made an Ebay account and a Youtube account in 'my' name, just about a month or two before I came here. And I thought my name was pretty original. Fortunately enough, the accounts have had no activity on them sense their creation and are abandoned, and my clan's name appears no where on the internet that I have not been, as of yet.

Anyone else here ever found out one day that someone else has been using your name, possibly before you?

The internet is like a whole other planet, and it's starting to overpopulate.

My original name from forever ago was Kian but it was taken on starwars galaxies and I changed to Ladios. Still have occasional conflicts but I work around them most of the time.

Isn't Ladios "God" or something in another language?

Link.
To what?
The ebay and youtube accounts named "DrenDran"?

Thanks.

Dios from the latin Deus, which most latin-based languages derive the word God from. Dios itself is the spanish alteration. (A funny point to this is La being a feminin article, where as Dios is a masculine noun)

My name was actually based on the pokemon Latios, however.

I pronounce it Lad-ee-ohs in my head.
