You were evacuated into your living pod in case the pirates were to take control of the station, but luckily, they just attacked and left. The door next to you is the door to the kitchen, and the one next to it, down the stairs, is your room. The door at the end of the hall leads to your father's quarters. They've been locked since the end of the attack.
There is also a hot air vent under the stairs, but after rumors of children accidentally falling down the shafts and getting lost got to the Captain, all the vents were sealed with grilles and welded shut.
