Problem 1:
One girl, y, is loveually active, and would be nice for me, because I'm a love maniac. The other, x is kind of edgy around the subject of love.. and as you have read love is important to me.

Problem 2:
I've known X for two years. I've known Y for a month.

Problem 3:
If I chose Y, it'd be hard to get to meet her, but still possible and would be really nice to meet her now and again.

Problem 4:
If I chose X, Y will hate me, and vice versa.

Attraction is more difficult because often it is wrapped up in delusional conflict (Often known as drama. :I) and sometimes even blind lust. If you want a true relationship with either, you cannot build it on love. love, while it may be important for one reason or another, does not last forever. It can and most likely will fade eventually and any relationship built upon it will fall as well.

From what it sounds, Y appeals to you for loveual reasons, and her attitude is just an "added bonus". X seems to be an old friend who wants to build a relationship up higher before jumping into bed with you. But which are you looking for? A one night stand, or a meaningful relationship? Who would best suit which for you? Are you sure what you want is truly what you need? :o
