Author Topic: Graphics card issues (Read 695 times)

So, a while ago I had to format my hard drive.
Before that, I was able to run Blockland just fine.
Now, I looked at my card again, downloaded the newest drivers for it (ATI Radeon 9550, CatalystCC v10.2)
I can't play Blockland any more.
wat2do?

does the gui even come up when you launch it?

Does it crash on the black console thing, not even starting up the game?
If so then I'm having the same problem and I'm using the same drivers as you.

My card is an ATI Radeon X1950 Sapphire Pro, I only installed the drivers today and I don't think you can uninstall the drivers.

Have you restarted your computer? If not, my only other thought is to install the graphics drivers that came with your computer or graphics card.

Peej, I found the most recent old driver for our cards, it's v9.11 though curiously released after v9.8

Anyway, we could move back to this and see if the next version (of either Blockland or the drivers) fixes this problem?

Also, don't forget to uninstall the graphics drivers from Add/Remove programs, near the top there should be an ATI Uninstall Utility just click that and then click remove and click okay (make sure that the first option is checked before clicking okay)
