Author Topic: Huge high school pep rally bullstuff festival  (Read 1718 times)

I'm starting my freshman year in high school on Wednesday, and to kick it off, there's been some bullstuff orientation program called "Freshman Focus Camp" which has gone on for the past few days and ended at two in the afternoon today. Just a bunch of activities to get us "pumped" for high school. They separated us into three teams by color (Red, yellow, green) and had us create names, cheers, and general nonsense for some big pep rally that, according to our focus leaders (selected overachievers juniors and seniors) would reach volumes to combat a rock concert. We got colored bands the first day, made of a type of paper that was so tough that I had to take scissors to it to get it off, and so tight that it left an indentation on my wrist when I finally got it off. The next day we had to dress in our team's colors and try to beat the other two teams in some inter-team challenge crap, whose only reward would be bragging rights. Our team won and the uproar about blew my eardrums out. It was horrible. I came home and texted my friend saying, "Is this what a hangover feels like?"
I don't know. Discuss similar happenings.

Welcome to high school, you haven't yet experienced the least of it.

What the forget is a pep rally?

16 days of freedom left..

"Is this what a hangover feels like?"

Silly spray is now banned from our pep rallies, seniors and juniors launched a surprise attack on each other, in a panic one girl passed out. plastic balls too.

What the forget is a pep rally?

It's used to boost student moral right before a school event or sport.

It's this:
Hey students! Let's take you out of class and pack you into a crowded auditorium to get really excited about some stuff you wouldn't care about otherwise yeaaaaah!

Oh geez, you're friends with ROTC national socialists? You poor thing.
But, my dad is instructor

lol teachers use to stand by the doors of the school, to stop those of us who thought the rallys were gay and would just as well go home early.
