Owat
will it delete all my files?
Uh, duh.

If you're trying to install it cleanly you have to format it.

If you're trying to upgrade you have to run it from Windows XP and it has to be the same architecture type (i.e you need 32-bit Vista to upgrade).

"hurr durr Vista sucks lol".

I don't think Microsoft would make an entirely broken product. Either your computer is incompatible with Vista or here's an idea: Installing OS's takes a long loving time, especially if you need to format the hard drive/partition you're installing it on.

It didn't take long to install XP for me from a CD, I can't comment on how fast Windows 7 installed since I used a flash drive to install it off from.

Ill try to format it.

Don't OS installations actually require you to format the partition that you're installing Windows on?

If you bought Windows 7 digitally it comes with a tool that allows you to easily burn the .iso of the version of Windows 7 you downloaded onto either a USB 2.0 flash drive that has enough space to hold it or a DVD.
Since I have a USB 2.0 4GB flashdrive I used that to install Windows since USB2.0 is much faster in my opinion.

Suddenly Google Chrome is borked
When it starts up, nothing happens. If I type in a url, nothing loads. :C

I even tried reinstalling, still doesn't work.

Come on guys, this is really starting to piss me off. When I try to reinstall this is what I get:

Ctrl Alt Delete
Try to see if it's hiding in processes
