Micro-evolution is fact. Especially on isolated islands and places of that sort. There is a pool filled with jellyfish somewhere in the world that have no stingers. Humans born in hot climates have darker skin to avoid sunburn.
Long term evolution through natural selection is however debatable. It will always be debated on, and each side has some evidence against the other. This can't really be resolved until we all die.
One thing that makes me doubt the spontaneous life theory on how life started is how the organisms on earth are so complex within their structure, that had chemicals and cell parts that seem to come out of nowhere. How is this?
Some religious folk believe the Earth not to be more than a few years old or something, can't remember it specifically.
I believe that it is somewhere about 10,000-15,000 years.
