Why is God so mean and self-centered?

Really? I mean, if we don't believe in him we go straight to hell and burn for eternity. That's not very nice. And really in the beginning of time in the Garden of Eve and stuff why didn't God just destroy Satan before he could influence Eve? And if God is all knowing and powerful shouldn't he have known that Eve would have listened to Satan?

These are the things that made me turn into a weak Agnostic. I just don't get it, isn't he's pro-traded as the nicest guy ever, yet he's a gigantic starfish. ???

God didn't destroy Satan becuase he gave Adam and Eve free will to do what they wanted, the only thing he said not to do was eat of the fruit of knowledge, which Satan got them to eat. They had free will so they could of said no, but they dun goofed. He knew she would say yes but gave her the chance to say no...

I have something for all you atheists to think about. What if God and Heaven and Hell are real? Because you all are atheists and don't believe in God, you will go to hell and be eternally punished. If religion is not real, I'd rather go to Hell for believing in my God than converting to somebody else's religion. It would be the ultimate test of faith.
