Countries like Russia are losing population each day.

How do you figure?

That's one of the development I fear. :s

In a way, I think of the only way we can stop it - to kill people - but that's so wrongful... yet we have no other choice. What the forget are we gonna do.

I'm not going to try to stop development just out of my fear. I just prefer the older days to the new. Granted, many new things are beneficial, but they all don't just suit me. :s

I love what we have today, I just sometimes wish things were more... interactive. Required more effort.

I thought about an idea like this once, then I realized it violates the laws of thermodynamics. So if you can come up with a system like that I'm sure every scientist and engineer in the world would like to know.

Otis beat me to it.

The drag induced from having the turbine interrupting the airflow around the car would easily negate any gains from the system. Furthermore, the additional weight and complexity of adding such a device decreases the value of adding it in the first place. The alternator already serves the function of generating electrical power from the mechanical power provided by the engine.

That being said, some cars now feature regenerative breaking which does have a positive net affect on the power the vehicle generates.

Well, babies are edible, right? Plus it requires no enviromentally harmful pesticides, and unlike the wind powered car idea, doesn't violate the laws of thermodynamics.

We need to learn how to harvest energy from nothing, thing is we don't know how

We still have a long way.

We need to learn how to harvest energy from nothing, thing is we don't know how :C
From the staaaaaars. The stars can teach usssss

You do know that that idea fro a wind powered car wouldn't work right?  Those turbines are using air resistance from the air moving through them to make energy.  So pretty much, you are losing energy on the front of the car from the resistance, some from sound, heat, lights for the car, and from the energy source.  There would be less energy being put into the car than being used.

This is why there are Terrorists and Murderers.
They are in our lives for a reason.
Keep the population.

Come to my country then, we have plenty of room here. c:
Bigger than Netherlands and Denmark a little, but only 1.4 million people.

Noo, I like it like that. Less people the better.

A wind powered car. Think about it. I thought about how you could simply raise up the car a bit and make the bottom hollow and fill it with turbines and when the car drives down the road, it spins the turbines, stores the energy in batteries and then the car could run solely on batteries.
Wouldn't work, there would be a loss of energy due to friction.

AKA Common sense. Do you have it?

It's cute that you two are repeating what Reactor Worker and I already said so you can attempt to look smart.

The friction would cause a loss of energy, idiot!
