Author Topic: Modeling a fancy car.  (Read 1792 times)

The colors are there so you can see stuff easier.

This is a car I've been modeling since two days ago.
It's based off this:

Should I release it when it's done?
Should I stop working on it because it burns your eyes?
Any tips, suggestions?

You should improove it, such as extruding the lights, detailing windows, etc.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward on driving this.

I've been looking at the Extrude button for a while now, what does it do? :O

EDIT:
I just toyed around with Extrude, it seems to be the same as Move? :o

You must have used it while in Edit Mode, use it in Object Mode and see what happens.
Oops, it seems you use Milkshape. Ignore what I said, that's Blender Instructions.

Nice modeling, try to give more detail on the head-lights.

Try to extrude a face.

"Doctor somethings wrong with me I think im gay."

"What makes you say that?"

"RAINBOWS"

Car is certainly colorfull

I put it in Colored Groups mode, so it's easier to see individual parts.

I'd make the roof panel less thick and chamfer/bevel the A and D pillars, and make B and C pillars thinner. Also, it looks like that some edges are not co-planar at all which you should fix, since it looks ugly.

The fender looks awkward, you should probably make the full fender first and then add the bulge for the chrome strip. There might be more things, but that's all I could think of right now.

I noticed that you simply stick deformed primitives together. It's not very clean.
