Author Topic: everyone says the building on blockland is easier.  (Read 2985 times)

I just wish the name "Blockland" wouldn't sound so childish to some people. I mean, talk about judging a book by it's cover...

Yeah, if only they got to know the community too...

The only "non nerd-like" aproach that I use to get some I friends is to play it infront of them while they're at my house, like on a TDM or something, and then let them try (after showing them how to play). If they like it, they buy it, if they don't, I kick them out of my house. (jk)

The building in ROBLOX was easier than blockland, since you can set the exact dimensions of the brick that you want, but that just discourages effort in builds, since you can just make a massive wall out of one brick, rather than 100 or so 2x4 bricks, and blockland builds look more authentic than ROBLOX builds because we don't have any automatic crappy bricks like trusses and balls (we have vehicles for balls). Therefore, I prefer the building in Blockland over ROBLOX, since you can place the brick exactly where you want, rather than if you try to move a group of bricks with the mouse in ROBLOX, it may dissapear or screw up.

i found it hard to put a block between 2 blocks since it would keep putting them on the blocks not inbetween.

Blockland Building: With a Keyboard was genius.

ROBLOX Building: With a mouse is just annoying.

real legos are easier

real legos are easier

Yes, but with real Lego, you can't walk inside nor ontop of it, you can't blow it up, you can't make real rockets with smoke and stuff fly out, plus you have those chunky hands getting in the way of your builds.

For Idiots :

ya, but real legos no can walk in or above you build, it not go BOOOOM  :cookieMonster:  :cookieMonster: or no stuff flies out of my stuff i make
