Today, when I went to activate my 360 console, it just started rapidly flashing red, all four lights (looked really cool). So I was like, "forget." Then I turned on my PS3, and it starts to flash Yellow (also cool). I can't send in my Xbox because I spraypainted it. Stupid Microsoft. I think God is giving me the finger... Just thought I'd share.

BTW: For any of those so-called "noobies" out there, RRoD is Red Ring Of Death (Xbox) and YLoD is Yellow Light of Death (PS3).

if all 4 lights are flashing red on Xbox you do not have RRoD

What is it then?

Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 are flashing red
- The AV cable cannot be detected

THINGS TO TRY

   1. Make sure that the AV cable is correctly connected to the Xbox 360 console.
   2. Disconnect the AV cable from the Xbox 360 console, and then reconnect the AV cable to the Xbox 360 console.
   3. If the four flashing red lights continue to flash, try wiping the metal area of the AV pack with a dry cloth. The metal area is the end that plugs into the console. Wipe the metal area thoroughly, and then try the AV Pack again.
   4. If the AV cable is correctly connected but the four red lights are still flashing, substitute a different AV cable if you have one available.

Its the yellow Light of Death

Get it right

Unplugged everything, plugged back in. Now it's 3 flashing red lights D:

You set your xbox on fire by accident then ate popcorn inside it.

Try this:
While having the three rrod, turn on your xbox, and hold down the sync button. While still holding it down press the eject button. It should give you a number code (####).
Example: Holding down sync and pressing eject once gives me 1 rrod =1
Holding down sync and pressing eject again gives me 2 rrod =2
4 rrods =0

Write down each number and tell us it. You should have 4 numbers

Hax.

It's a method to get an error code. You hold sync and press eject and the red lights will light up. The number of lights that glow represents a number.

4 lights = 0
1 light = 1
2 lights = 2
3 lights = 3

Hold sync and press eject, write down the number it corresponds to. Release eject and press it again for the second number, then release and press for the 3rd, then release and press for the 4th.

The 4 digit number you get is the error code.
