...Last minute. If you do not know what this program is, look here: http://www.ibo.org/. Anyways, I was accepted late because I was put on a waiting list, because I applied late due to me not knowing that you can get into it even if you had not passed Algebra I by 8th grade (I didn't because I was home schooled 7th and 8th grade, and I did pass Pre-algebra in 7th grade, but I didn't have legitimate proof I did, so I had to repeat it). Anyways, I later learned after the deadline that you can actually possibly make it in without Algebra I knowledge, and my Mother set me up to submit my forms and writing application to be on the waiting list for 8th grade going into 9th grade. I did this in March, and they couldn't tell me what position I was on the waiting list, but apparently I was 1st because a few days ago, a spot opened up, and they asked me if I could fill it up. So now, I need a couple questions answered by you guys:

1. If any of you are in this program, do you like it, and how hard is it?

2. French or Spanish? I really dislike both and wanted to learn German, but they don't have it.

Why is everyone accepted into it. I didn't even know what it was until Raeyok started talking about it.

Congrats, though, and I'd pick French.

I wanted to learn german too, but hurrdurr sorry you have to learn gay languages

I'm in a unique dual credit program.

Instead of taking highschool courses that are worth college credit, I take college courses that are worth highschool credit. I'm legally a college student.

All that does is make you pay for college classes to get highschool credit, you can actually get college credits from highschool classes. Also pick Spanish if you want a language that will actually help you get a job later in life. French is borderline useless as most French people speak English, especially French people in the U.S.

French, Spanish, and German are all such lame languages. I hated taking Spanish in high school. They were SUPPOSED to teach Russian but they didn't. I wanted to learn Russian :(

Spanish is probably the only language you will actually use, besides if you go to vacation somewhere but I bet the most you will go there is like for a week so you don't really need it.
