I'm not really familiar with the state of vehicles in BLv2, but in retail you hit W to drive forward, S to drive backwards and you steer with the mouse.

Yeah thats the same as the mods.

Pressing space uses emergency brakes. Unless Torque doesn't like you pressing more then one button at once in a vehicle, which seems unlikely.
