Author Topic: SSB3D - An idea.  (Read 6429 times)

I recently got Torque3D, and I was thinking of making an online SSB-Like deathmatch game.

It would have maps, different characters, and things of the such.

I'd like it if I could have a modeler, possibly a map maker, and MAYBE a scripter.

though it's not gotten anywhere as the world editor is still new to me, and i can't model, or animate them for that matter.

So if I could get help, that'd be great. i only ask that you have steam so we can easily get in touch.


Current Progress:

  • Main game levels -0%
  • GUIs for character selection and server creation -1% (meaning, hey look i started a gui and its a window with nothing on it!)
  • Character Models -0%
  • Additional scripts to enhance the game -no.

Current Staff:
  • Scripters: ottosparks, Headcrab Zombie when needed
  • Modelers: Peejster, Toasteh, unless obibital comes back with a steam and better model, not that the current one isn't good)
  • Map Makers: ottosparks (I guess, since I have the program itself.), Peejster (ripping is close enough to map making for me.)

Well although i dont know what SSB3D is, im a novice modeler that needs experience

heres some stuff i did.

BioShock Wrench Weapon (theres also an animation for it)





BioShock Rosie Helmate (going to be a full Player Type)



And...well thats all the good stuff i have, im helping with the BioShock Pack as you see, and this has been the point were im actually doing good XD.

I script a lot of it. Which is why I didn't really emphasize the scripter part.

I have the program itself.

Bad thing is, you can't access GUI editor and World Editor ingame to my knowledge.

We add Reimu Hakurei to the game. :3
As for "map maker", I could rip the maps from the n64 game for easier "conversion."

I was thinking about adding some Touhou characters anyways, but again, they'd be hard to model, I'd imagine.

anyhow, give me an example of your modeling first, i need to compare with Obibital's.

But as for map making, yes. please do that. :D
