Is there a way to make a projectile have no trail for a second, then have it flash back to the projectile, like a FGM-148 Javelin Missile? and maybe even be weighted and have only a small amount of force propelling it?

That's entirely possible.

If you get all the datablocks and models made I'd be willing to script its firing.

For something like that it looks like you could have it fire a 'deactivated' slow projectile with no trail and the launch smoke explosion effect, then when it explodes spawn a new projectile with the same direction it was going initially and the rocket trail.

that sounds good, even though i dont know how to do that, but Amade said he would script it, good idea overall! :)  :cookie:

ps. im about half way done with the base model of the launcher, once its finished, im going to start on the projectile model

well, i cant get the model to work well, and i cant get  the projectile to show up ingame (i wonder if it has to do with the model turning black when i export it :( ), so if there is a person who is good at modeling and stuff they might want to try this, and maybe even build the server.cs file, im getting very frustrated :(, maybe someone should take over the whole thing and design it their way
