Whenever The Screen Savers showed it off. I remember as soon that episode ended, I jumped on the computer and downloaded that sucker. I think BLM 1.6 was the mod everyone was playing at the time.

I joined and began playing in late-mid V7.  Things were better then community-wise then than they are now.

Building was more simple, but many of the Add-Ons were more complex with their own GUIs and many, many keybinds.  Favorites of mine included: Space Guy's Bots, JVS (way different back then), and Rotondo's Zombie mod.

JVS used to stand for Jedi Versus Sith, so I'm guessing the old JVS was something about Star Wars?
